Announcement of a conference transcript entitled “Die Kunststadt Darmstadt 1933 – 1945"

Together with the Mathildenhöhe Institute, the Central Office for Provenance Research  Hesse is currently working on a publication entitled “Die Kunststadt Darmstadt 1933 – 1945: Erwerbungspolitik, Netzwerke und Akteure in Darmstädter Kulturinstitutionen” [Darmstadt, City of Art, 1933 – 1945: acquisition policy, networks, and stakeholders in Darmstadt’s cultural institutions]. It will document for the long term the results of the conference of the same name, that took place in June of 2021, and make them available to the general public. Publication of the book is planned for later this year.
